Once we’re thrown off our habitual paths, we think all is lost, but it’s only here that the new and the good begins.
– Leo Tolstoy
And may I add: often our habitual paths are the wrong ones. And if we don’t understand it quick enough, life loses patience with us and throws us off in rude ways. It took me ages to understand when my life is sending me signals to move on and away. You know, when nothing goes right, often we shouldn’t feel sorry for ourselves. It’s not happening because it’s not for us. Sometimes things don’t happen, because it’s better that way.
