Libera/disoccupata.
Il mio turno di lavoro sarebbe finito dopo 20 minuti. Mi hanno chiamato per dirmi di stare a casa dal giorno dopo, visto che avevo ferie da smaltire e non mi rinnovavano il contratto.
Il motivo ufficiale è che hanno inserito una store manager a 40 ore settimanali e una sciaquetta ignorante e manovrabile a 30, che dunque non c’è spazio per me.
Vabbè, ciaone. Mi stavo affezionando a tutto perchè non sono immune alla sindrome di stoccolma, ma a quanto pare ho un buon karma. Non mi ritengo disoccupata perchè ho da fare. Ma sono libera.
Occupati della pagliuzza e che la trave si arrangi da sola.

13. Take creative risks. Make something they expect and make something weird—something you know they won’t buy, so they know you can think.
14. Marketing yourself is raising your hand to be seen. If they can’t see you, they can’t hire you.
15. Give other people their props. The nice things you say keep them fighting forward.
16. Don’t downplay your talent. When someone gives you a compliment, just say “thank you” and move on.
17. Balance passion with practicality. We focus too much on practicality in our society. Where can you step into your passion?
18. The market is crowded, but you can always carve out your own lane with a personal brand.
19. Practice patience. If you believe it will happen, it will happen eventually.
20. Things are changing rapidly. Look at what you think you know, research if it has changed, and never stop learning.
Karma
In Vietnam there is a saying that when the father eats too much salt, the son has to drink a lot of water. Karma, or action, is like that. Not only do you have to suffer, your children have to suffer also. That is why to practice the precepts is to protect yourself and to protect future generations.

Welcome to 1999
In questo momento il mondo fa davvero paura.
O più che paura, proprio schifo. Schifo vero.
Sarebbe opportuno che tutti facessero un passo indietro ma quando lo suggerisco mi sembra di parlare ai muri.
Dico da sempre a tutti di non dedicarsi troppo ai social, di non usarli come unica piattaforma per il proprio lavoro, di non comprare fast fashion, di non usare Amazon se non in casi di vera necessità, ma niente. Questa comoda lobotomizzazione collettiva ha preso il sopravvento. Tutti si lamentano ma nessuno vuole mollare questo tepore che a me sa di premorte, quando il corpo è ancora tiepido ma l’anima è andata.
E allora ho deciso di fare sto passo indietro da sola, che tanto parlare ai muri o parlare al nulla è lo stesso.
Benvenuti nel mio personale nuovo 1999. Windows funzionava a meraviglia, non avevamo gli smartphone e i social, c’era Napster, il mondo sembrava improvvisamente raggiungibile in ogni angolo e pieno di opportunità. Internet sembrava magia pura. I blog, tematici o personali, i forum, la possibilità di condividere passioni e opinioni con gente di ogni dove. Dov’è finito tutto questo?
Rivoglio quella sensazione. Qualcuno diceva che basta una persona. Quello che so, è che io mi chiamo fuori.
L’involuzione è la vera rivoluzione.
